LITHUANIAN AND KALININGRAD REGION YOUTH FORUM

22 representatives of the Lithuanian youth organizations participated in the Lithuanian and Kaliningrad region Youth Forum, November 06-08, 2009. The project was aiming at the communications development among youth organizations. Visiting coordinators (LiJOT and RESC) expected that the event will enable participants to not only meet each other and to make new friends, but also to help generate new international projects among youth organizations and associations of the neighbouring countries.

According to the feedback from participants, trips and visits in general were a success. Representatives of the Lithuanian youth organizations were exceptionally well hosted by coordinators.

During the heated debates about possible projects and their implementation, guests got acquainted with Kaliningrad’s architectural merits, parks, the Immanuel Kant University and its museum, and the comedy competition KVN (Rus. KBH).

According to Kazys Bagdonas, a member of the Klaipeda Youth Organizations’ Association “Round Table”, a member of which is the Klaipeda Region Union of Young Framers, he was representing international interests of all members of the “Round Table”.
